The Central Asian Association for Education Accreditation held a training seminar for candidate external experts. The participants — faculty of universities and colleges, representatives of employers and the student community — became acquainted with the standards of institutional and programme accreditation, the methodology of external assessment, and the procedures of external expert commissions.
Particular attention was paid to practical sessions: participants analyzed real cases of assessing self-assessment reports, learned to formulate conclusions and recommendations, and discussed common mistakes when conducting interviews with focus groups.
Following the seminar, participants who successfully pass the certification will be included in the Association's register of experts and may be engaged in the work of external expert commissions.
