CAAAE external experts
The quality of external assessment is determined by the professionalism and independence of the experts.
External expert commissions (EEC) are formed from trained and certified experts. Each expert signs a code of ethics and a declaration of no conflict of interest with the institution being assessed.
Composition of the expert commission
Academic experts
Lecturers and researchers with experience in managing educational quality and developing educational programmes.
Employer representatives
Industry practitioners who assess whether the training of graduates meets the requirements of the labour market.
Students
Representatives of the student community — full members of the commission who assess the student-centredness of learning.
International experts
Foreign quality assurance specialists who bring an international perspective to the assessment.
Requirements for experts
- Higher education and work experience in the field of education or a relevant industry;
- Knowledge of accreditation standards and external assessment methodology;
- Completion of training under the CAAAE expert preparation programme;
- No conflict of interest with the institutions being assessed;
- Compliance with the expert code of ethics.
How to become an expert

Training
Complete a training seminar on CAAAE external assessment standards and procedures.
- 03
Certification and inclusion in the register
After successful certification, you are included in the register of experts and may be engaged in the work of the EEC.
